Saint Louis Christian College offers a wide variety of curriculum choices. We are an authorized Standard Publishing dealer and offer all materials they publish. In addition, we provide curriculum from Group Publishing, Cook Communications, Gospel Light, College Press, KidzBlitz, Sweet, and more. Please check with us if you need curriculum from a company not listed here.

Vacation Bible School

Each year in February the bookstore hosts a Vacation Bible School workshop, providing opportunities to preview materials, gather craft and decorating ideas and learn about how to host a successful VBS. We provide materials from all major publishers.

Student Services

Welcome to the Student Services section for the College Bookstore. We love to see our students in the bookstore, and we want to make it a good experience for you. In addition to textbooks, we offer a wide range of services for students.

Check Cashing

Students may cash personal checks for up to $40.00 in the bookstore. There is a small fee for cashing checks. Checks returned for insufficient funds are subject to a $25.00 fee.

Supplies

The bookstore carries everything from notebooks and pens to poster board. Supplies are kept at a reasonable cost for students.

Special Orders

The bookstore will place special orders for books, CDs, DVDs, etc. Because we are limited in space we do not carry many items, but will be glad to order them for students.

Textbook Buybacks

Textbook buybacks are done at the end of each semester. Lists will be posted prior to the buybacks.

Wedding Invitations

Students purchasing wedding invitations through the bookstore receive a discount. Sample books are available for checkout.

Church Services

Resources

The bookstore offers resources for all of your ministry needs including youth ministry, children’s ministry, small group ministry, and Sunday School. A large array of reference materials is available, including Bibles and commentaries.

Special Orders

The bookstore takes special orders and offers discounts on most quantity items. (The exception would be publishers we do not normally order from or if we did not receive a discount to pass on. We never discount Lifeway material, as we pay the same amount you will pay.) Standard discounts are: 10-19 items, 10%; 20 or more, 20%.

Special Events and Holiday Bookstores

The bookstore offers portable stores for special events, holidays, and retreats (within a 60 mile radius). We will supply products for anything from holiday bookstores to special preaching series. We try to tailor our bookstore to your event needs. If you are interested in these services, please contact the bookstore manager.

Church Supplies

We offer communion supplies at competitive prices, and offer discounts on some items when they are ordered in larger quantities. In addition, we take special orders for baptismal robes, hymnals, Pew Bibles, etc.

Library Program

The bookstore offers a library program for churches that order on a routine basis. Each year churches can earn books for their library based on their total purchases.

Saint Louis Christian College Bookstore provides Christian resources for students, individuals, and churches in order to edify, educate, and equip individuals in Christian ministry.

We are closed for holidays and holiday weekends. We are closed during chapel.

Staff

Mrs. Linda Wallace is the bookstore manager. She is a graduate of SLCC, with a B.S. in Christian Education and is currently working on her master’s degree. She and her husband, Tom, are parents of four children. Linda is also the founder and director of Christian Women’s Resource Network, and speaks for women’s groups.

Mrs. Annabelle Brown works part time as the curriculum manager and has a daughter, son-in-law, and granddaughter who have attended SLCC. Her encouraging attitude and gift for listening makes her a favorite with the students.

Mrs. Deborah Pabarcus is a customer service specialist and graduated from SLCC with an Associates Degree in Secretarial Science. She also serves at Ferguson Christian Church as an administrative assistance part-time. Her husband, Dr. S. Michael Pabarcus is a professor at SLCC and two of her children have graduated from SLCC. Deb has a servant’s heart and is a wonderful addition to the bookstore.

Returns Policy

Textbook and General Merchandise Returns

• A register receipt must accompany all returns.
• All merchandise must be in new and resalable condition. Textbooks that have been written in or been damaged in any way may not be returned.
• All general merchandise returns and exchanges must be made within thirty (30) days of the date of purchase unless otherwise stated.
• All textbooks may be returned within fourteen (14) days of the start date of class. No textbooks may be returned after that time.
• Course packets are non returnable.
• Textbooks are not returnable if shrink wrap is broken or disks are used or missing.
• Special order books are not returnable.
• All clearance items are not returnable.
• Cash refunds are not permitted on credit card purchases. Refunds will be issued to credit card used for purchase.
• Cash refunds will not be permitted for students with outstanding accounts. Credit will be issued to the account.
• Checks will be accepted for the value of the sale with a valid identification.
• A ten (10) day waiting period is required for refunds that were purchased by check.

Curriculum Returns

• Curriculum must be returned prior to the start date of the quarter for which it is purchased.
• All merchandise must be in new and resalable condition.
• Credit will be issued to the purchasing church or individual. No cash refunds will be given for curriculum.
• All Vacation Bible School returns must be made prior to June 1 for a full refund. Any returns after that date will be offered only a partial refund. No returns will be accepted after July 1.
