Questions about New Programs
What is the ‘Building a Legacy’ plan?
The plan has two components. The first component is that every full-time student will be entitled to a tuition scholarship. All full-time residential students will receive a full-tuition scholarship. All full-time commuter students will receive a half-tuition scholarship.
The second part of the plan is to replace the current field education program with MAP (Ministry Advancement Program). This will be an individualized service program to better prepare our students for a lifetime of ministry. This program will focus on three areas of a student’s development – character, community and church.
^ Back to Top Will students still be able to qualify for federal financial aid?
Yes. Saint Louis Christian College is an accredited institution and would continue to qualify for federal aid under Title IV. This aid would be in addition to the new tuition scholarship received from SLCC. For example, a student qualifying for a full Pell grant would be able to use that grant to cover room, board and fees in addition to the new tuition scholarship from SLCC.

How many years does the scholarship cover?
The tuition scholarship is a four-year scholarship or will cover up to 150% of the classes toward a degree program. Special exceptions can be made for students enrolled in a five-year degree program.
